Education & work experience

Jude is the Practice leader of Bwambale, Tropical Law Advocates Consultants and has worked with several institutions among others Uganda Law Reform commission, Public Affairs and Parliamentary Support Trust (PAPST)- Harare, Zimbabwe and is currently a practicing Advocate with Tropical Law Advocates. He has been instrumental in shaping the legal framework in Uganda by engaging in field researches and preparing Bills such as the Children Bill, Trust Bill, HIV/AIDS Bill and the Domestic Violence Bill which is currently an Act of Parliament.

He has conducted several researches and trainings in Uganda and Zimbabwe in the areas of peace, leadership, governance and gender. He analyzed and designed a resettlement schedule for the occupants of the Chiyadzwa diamond mine in MUTARE, Zimbabwe and submitted it to the Institute of Peace Leadership and Governance, Africa University. He also participated in the monitoring and evaluation of PAPST (Zimbabwe) activities which was commissioned and funded by UNDP- Zimbabwe. He brings with him legal, social science and research skills to the firm. He has advanced expertise in governance and election matters and proven international skill in peaceful resolution of conflict and in the area of alternative dispute resolution.
